Apprentices now fully qualified!!

CentraHeat - Swindons best heating engineers

It’s been a busy week at CentraHeat, with our team of engineers out and about throughout Swindon and north/mid-Wiltshire, with a few trips to Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire thrown in. We’ve done a typical mix of plumbing and boiler repairs and bathroom installations, plus work on a number of commercial projects. Lee’s feet have hardly touched the ground, with numerous appointments to provide estimates for customers wanting bathroom upgrades or new boiler installations – we like to keep him busy with these, as that keeps the rest of us busy in turn. In the office, we’ve undergone a major upgrade to our email systems this week and a big thank you must go to Simon and Jason at Jason Parrington IT Solutions for how smoothly it has gone – IT upgrades can be very fraught and stressful but this one was not at all so!

We have enjoyed some superb feedback from customers this week. One lady called us, having just seen her friend’s new bathroom that we installed, saying that she wanted us to price up a re-fit for her own bathroom; her only requirement was that it should be “every bit as lovely” as the one she had just seen. Another elderly customer rang to say how delighted she is with the changes we have made to her bathroom to accommodate her mobility difficulties; she was thrilled at being able to enjoy a shower again for the first time in some months. Finally, a new customer had called in with some plumbing requirements while having an extension built at his home: after we had completed the job, he said, “The speed of the response, the quality of the work and the manner of the telephone staff and the engineer were exemplary and could not be faulted.” We love to hear things like this from our customers, so thank you to all of you who take the time to send us your feedback.

Finally, we have this week celebrated the fact that two of our senior apprentices have all their final assessments signed off, so confirming that he is now a fully-qualified plumbing and gas-heating engineer. They were issued with his Gas Safe registration cards, which they greeted with enormous smiles. It was a delight to see how much this accreditation meant to them, as it reflects accurately on the quality of his work pride and the pride he takes in doing it well.
